GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – A teen lunged at a woman with a knife after an argument, according to Greenville Police.
It happened on Oct. 6 on Perry Ave.
Christopher T. Thompson, 18, has been charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to incident report.
During the argument, Christopher said he grabbed a kitchen knife from a ledge in the living room that they used to carve pumpkins.
He said he “lunged” at a woman in the house with the knife, according to the report.
The woman said she was afraid of getting stabbed so she picked up her child and ran into bedroom and called 911.
Police say when they got to the scene a woman came out of the house and pointed at Thompson. They told him to stand up and asked him if he had a knife.
They say he pulled out a kitchen knife and told him to drop it.
He dropped the knife and was arrested without incident.
