COLCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) — A father surprised his two children Thursday morning for a special Veterans Day celebration at Colchester Elementary School.
Leonard Viggiani has been deployed in Africa, while his sons, Miles, a second grader at Colchester Elementary, and Michael, a sixth grader at Colchester Middle School, attend their classes.
Both Michael and Miles were shown a video of their father stationed in Africa, and believed that the school was honoring all of the Veteran family members of students at the two schools.
When the two children turned around though, they received an even greater surprise, their father standing right behind them.
