SPARTANBURG CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A man is dead after a deer ran out in front of him on Rainbow Lake Road, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
The accident happened around 4:42 p.m. Sunday near Inman.
The coroner says 52-year-old Rodney Joe Frady of Boiling Springs died after he hit a deer.
Troopers says Frady was driving a 1995 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and was heading west on Rainbow Lake Road when he struck the deer.
Frady was thrown from the motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet, according to Highway Patrol.
He was taken by ambulance to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
