CLEMSON (WSPA) – It’s time for the annual blood drive between Clemson University and the University of South Carolina!
The competitive blood drive is commonly known as the Blood Bowl at Clemson, and the Blood Battle at USC.
Each year, students at USC and Clemson compete to see which school can donate the most blood before their rivalry game.
This year, the big game will be played at Clemson on Saturday, November 26th.
The Blood Connection will be setting up blood donation trucks, or blood mobiles, on both campuses this week for students to join in on the competition.
Clemson sent us a video of some students participating in the contest and giving blood.
