GREENVILLE CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A man is dead after a drive-by shooting that happened on Pinefield Drive a couple of weeks ago.
The coroner says 20-year-old De’Vajae Jones has died from his injuries he received in the shooting.
The shooting happened just before 8:00 p.m. at his home on Pinefield Drive on November 1st.
Jones was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he died at about 5:53 p.m. today.
An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
A woman was also hurt in the drive-by shooting. There is no word on her condition.
Deputies say two men in a green SUV pulled up to the home and started shooting, hitting Jones and the woman.
So far, no one has been arrested in connection to the shooting.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office are investigating the case.
