GREENVILLE CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A man has been arrested in connection with two sexual assaults that occurred in October, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say 28-year-old Markius Reshad Yeargin has been charged with Kidnapping, Posession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime, Criminal Sexual Conduct 1st Degree, and Attempted Murder.
According to an arrest warrant, Yeargin pulled a knife on a woman inside his car and wouldn’t let her leave.
He then forced her to have sex with him, the warrant says.
The other incident also happened inside of Yeargin’s car.
The arrest warrant says Yeargin held a woman at gunpoint, then sexually and physically assaulted her.
Yeargin choked the woman and told her he was going to kill her, according to the warrant.
The woman had to go to the hospital for treatment.
Yeargin has also been charged with Reckless Driving and Disregarding a Stop Sign after deputies say he was driving at a high rate of speed, and on the left side of the road.
He is currently being held in the Greenville County Detention Center without bond.
