ANDERSON CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A man has died after a crash that involved a moped and a truck, according to S.C. Highway Patrol.
They say the crash happened at the intersection of Sayre Street and W. Reed Street, around 9:45 a.m.
The Anderson County Coroner’s Office says 53-year-old Michael D. Pruitt was driving east on Sayre Street when he struck a truck that was crossing over from W. Reed Street.
Pruitt was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, and had head and neck trauma.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating.
