Intersection reopens after Anderson Co. barn fire

ANDERSON CO, SC (WSPA) — Anderson County dispatchers say a call came in Sunday morning about a barn fire.

Crews say it happened just after 4:20 am on the 2400 block of Concord Rd.

According to dispatch, the fire was so large, firefighters had to use a large diameter hose — closing the intersection of Concord and Brown Roads.

Both roads reopened around 9am.

Hopewell and Centerville fire departments responded.

Dispatchers say no one was injured.

Investigators have not stated what caused the fire.
