GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) — A man has been arrested after firing at least one shot inside of a Greenville bar Saturday night, according to Greenville Police Department.
Police officers were told by staff inside the Blind Horse Saloon on Lowndes Hill Road that someone fired a shot inside the building, according to the arrest report.
Officers who arrived at the scene reportedly came into the building to find employees of the bar attempting to control the suspect who fired the shot.
The suspect was identified as Brandon Phillip Harley and was immediately taken into custody.
Investigators say Harley was in an argument with another customer at Blind Horse Saloon, which prompted the staff to remove him.
As the bar staff attempted to remove Harley, he pulled out a gun and shot at one of the bouncers. The shot missed and hit the bar.
The gun was found by police and put into evidence.
Brandon Harley has been charged with:
· Attempted murder
· Possession of a gun during a violent crime
· Use of firearm while under the influence of alcohol
· Unlawful consumption of alcohol while in possession of a weapon
· Discharging a firearm into a dwelling
· Pointing and presenting a firearm.
A pursuit quickly ended after the car deputies were chasing crashed on Osteen Hill Road Sunday night, according to Anderson County dispatch.
There has been an officer-involved shooting near Cedar Lane Road and Hellams Street, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office says an attempted murder suspect has been arrested.
