GAFFNEY, SC (WSPA) – Former judge Jack Allison was punched in the face and robbed, according to Gaffney Police Department.
They say it happened on 11/17 around 8 p.m. on Smith Street.
The report says he was getting out of his vehicle and heard someone say “Hey Jack.”
He was then punched in the face and fell to the ground.
The suspect then took his wallet out of his back pocket and ran toward Fort St.
He could not give a description of the suspect.
The Allison was then taken to the hospital.
Allison’s grandson says Jack was a Magistrate from 1973-1989 and a municipal court judge from 1989-1999.
He says Allison has a mild concussion, black eye, broken bones in his nasal cavity, but is in good spirits.
