HAYWOOD CO., NC (WSPA) – The Haywood Co. Sheriff’s Office says they got a donation of 12 turkeys.
But they say there is a catch.
The man donated the turkeys, but there is a specific way he wants them given away.
He wants the deputies to give them away as a surprise gift to 12 people.
He says it is on behalf of his late wife Shelia.
The sheriff’s office posted this on their Facebook page:
“It’s turkey time! A local man bought us 12 turkeys from Ingles, but there was a catch– we honor his late wife’s generous heart and give them away as a surprise gift to 12 people.
The man’s name is Ronnie Parton .. bought turkeys on behalf of his late wife Sheila”
