PORT ORANGE, Fla. (WFLA) — A man is accused of stabbing his parents during a Thanksgiving celebration in Central Florida.
The 76-year-old father was stabbed three times in the chest, and the 72-year-old mother was stabbed once.
Both were rushed to the hospital after the incident. The mother is reportedly in serious condition and the man is in serious to critical condition.
Investigators said the parents told them their son has mental-health issues.
He was reportedly outside trying to wave deputies down as they responded.
Deputies said he threw the knife away from the home, but deputies recovered it.
