ANDERSON CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A man in camouflage coveralls went into a store and demanded money before fleeing the scene on foot Sunday morning, according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.
The “Little General Store” on S. Murray Ave. in Anderson was robbed around 8:30 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office says.
The suspect in this robbery did not present a weapon and ran away after taking an unknown amount of money.
A K-9 tracking unit was sent out and led investigators to a gravel road area where it is believed the suspect got into a vehicle and left.
Anderson County Sheriff’s investigators will continue to follow this case.
