BUNCOMBE CO. N.C. (WSPA) – A man has been arrested in connection to several recent common law robberies, according to the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office.
They say 46-year-old Robert Eugene Hubbard, of Asheville, was taken into custody without incident after a traffic stop at New Leicester Hwy and Newfound Road.
Hubbard was charged with three counts of Common Law Robbery, according to the sheriff’s office.
The robberies occurred at Jordan’s Hotspot on Sweeten Creek Road, Mountain Energy on Smokey Park Highway, and Fast Break on Emma Road.
Hubbard is being held in the Buncombe County Detention Center under a $100,000 bond.
