ANDERSON CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A man was killed and a female passenger was injured after a motorcycle crash on S.C. Highway 8 early Sunday morning, according to S.C. Highway Patrol.
The Anderson County Coroner’s Office says 47-year-old Dallas Brown Warren, of Easley, was driving a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle with a 36-year-old female passenger when the accident happened.
The vehicle went off the right side of the road and hit a guard rail, ejecting both riders, S.C. Highway Patrol says.
Warren was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital by EMS.
SCHP says Warren was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, but the passenger was wearing a helmet.
The female passenger is now out of the hospital, the coroner says.
Drugs and alcohol were factors in the crash, according to the Anderson County Coroner’s Office.
