Boiling Springs High School to dismiss early due to power outage

BOILING SPRINGS, SC (WSPA) — Boiling Springs High School will dismiss early Monday due to a power outage.

School officials say the localized power outage is affecting Boiling Springs High School and surrounding neighborhoods.

According to Duke Energy, about 1,700 customers in the area are without power as of 10:15 a.m.

Outages will not be repaired for a while, so Boiling Springs High School students were dismissed around 10:15 a.m. Monday.

Parents can come to the school to pick up students or they will be able to ride a bus as soon as we get drivers there.

Evening activities should continue as normal.
