TOWNVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – Remember when Batman came to Townville during a time of tragedy? Well now, he’s coming back with an inspirational message for the kids and teens of the Upstate.
Riding into town in the Hope Mobile, John Buckland will tour the schools in Townville area to teach kids how to turn pain into power.
Buckland is making a special visit to the area in honor of Jacob Hall, whose name is now memorialized on the replica Batmobile forever.
“This visit here is about hope and empowerment,” Buckland said. “This time around, we are honoring the community and in light of all the crazy things, I want to give a hope injection to this community.”
Batman and the Hope Mobile will be at the Townville Fire Parade this Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
