BUNCOMBE CO., N.C. (WSPA) – One man has been arrested in connection to a stabbing at a home on Cody Lane, according to the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office.
A call came in at 7:56 p.m. Tuesday, and deputies arrived on scene at 8:01 p.m.
Deputies say 22-year-old Terry Len Gentry has been taken into custody without incident.
Investigators wanted to speak with Gentry in connection to an assault with a deadly weapon.
The incident occurred between Gentry and a family member, deputies say.
The family member was injured and taken to Mission Hospital for treatment.
There was no immediate word on their condition.
The investigation is ongoing. Investigators say the incident is isolated and there is no public safety concern to the community.
