(WSPA)–Verizon Wireless is hosting two Open House hiring events as part of a major hiring push to fill more than 360 positions in Greenville by early 2017. The company is adding 200 new telesales jobs and 165 customer service positions in Greenville.
Interested applicants wishing to attend the hiring event should apply online at Verizon.com/jobs. Verizon will then send qualified applicants an invitation to attend the Open House.
The open house for customer service positions is Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, 9-11 a.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m. There will be an event for telesales on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, 9-11 a.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Verizon Greenville Solutions Center is located at 701 Brookfield Parkway Greenville, SC 29607.
According to a press release, the new telesales center will be one of only three such centers in the United States for Verizon. On-site features include a state-of-the-art wellness center with personal trainers, cafeteria with in-house chefs, lactation room for new moms, and dedicated Strayer University center. Candidates should enjoy working with people, be excellent multi-taskers and have solid technical skills. An associate degree is preferred.
