ANDERSON Co., S.C. (WSPA) — A vacant home was destroyed by fire early Wednesday morning on Gossett Drive.

Flames were shooting through the roof into the air when firefighters arrived two minutes after receiving the alarm.

Williamston and Cheddar fire departments had the blaze under control in about 10 minutes and kept it from spreading to a nearby home.

Thankfully, no one was injured.

Someone attempted to burn the same house down about 10 years ago.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
