Help ID suspect in WNC armed robberies

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) — Asheville police are asking for the public’s help identifying an armed robbery suspect.

Armed robberies occurred at three restaurants in Asheville and Hendersonville between the evening of Nov. 13, and early morning of Nov. 14. Police say the restaurants that were held up include McDonald’s at 800 Brevard Road in Asheville, Subway at 45 Old Village Road in Hendersonville and Burger King at 1815 Four Seasons Blvd. in Hendersonville.

Investigators are seeking information regarding a suspect described as a bi-racial male wearing a black hoodie, black pants and armed with a silver handgun.


Police say no injuries occurred in the robberies, and no vehicle description is available as of Wednesday morning.
