SC AMBER Alert for missing teen from GA cancelled

EVANS, GA (WSPA) – The South Carolina AMBER Alert for a missing 15-year-old has been cancelled at the request of the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia, according to SLED.

Calah Noel Waskow was abducted Sunday by a man in Evans, Georgia..

An AMBER Alert was activated on Thursday.

The suspect is 37-year-old Jason Arlis Johnson.

Waskow and Johnson have not been located at this time.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office says Johnson is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. He may have shaved his head.

Deputies say Johnson is wanted for aggravated child molestation, child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Calah has blue eyes and blonde hair and is 5 feet 4 inches and weighs 98 pounds.

The two are believed to be traveling in a tan 1998 Ford Crown Victoria with South Carolina license plate KVJ240.
