SPARTANBURG CO., S.C. (WSPA) – The 4th and final suspect in deadly armed robbery in Moore has been captured, according to Spartanburg Co. Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say Carnellious Daekwon Stringer, 16, was arrested last week in the city of Spartanburg.
He is being charged as an adult for murder and armed robbery of 20-year-old Thompson Kotlarich Demas.
Demas was killed in the armed robbery at his home on East Killarney Kale Road in Moore, according to deputies.
Keshawn Melvin Rice, 16, of Spartanburg, was charged with armed robbery and murder after an incident happened at Demas’ home on East Killarney Kale Road in Moore, according to deputies.
Rice and three other people rode to Demas’ home to rob him, according to the incident report.
Deputies say Rice shot Demas in his garage.
Two other suspects are Kameron Tyjai Wilson, 16, of Lyman, and Elian Nava, of Spartanburg, who were charged with armed robbery for this incident.
Wilson is a Dorman High School football player, according to District 6 officials.
