LAURENS CO., S.C. — A man who was charged with murder after a deadly shooting on Gastly Drive has been denied bond.
Lieutenant Ben Blackmon with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office said an autopsy revealed that Sammy Tribble III, 32, of Clinton was shot twice.
Tribble’s body was found in the front yard of a home on Gastly Drive Wednesday morning.
Blackmon said that’s where 24-year-old Samuel Antonio Davis lives.
Blackmon said evidence found at the crime scene linked Davis to other crimes.
He’s also charged with breach of trust with fraudulent intent and failure to pay child support, according to online court records.
Lt. Blackmon reassured the public that there is not a threat to the public after the fatal shooting.
Davis’ first court appearance will be on January 27th.
