WESTMINSTER, SC (WSPA) – A Westminister man has been charged with Purchase Pseudoephedrine above the Legal Limit, according to the Oconee Co. Sheriff’s Office.
48-year-old Thomas Lee Lanning of Johnny Cox Road tried to buy more than the legal limit of 9 grams in a 30 day period on Nov. 23, according to deputies.
They say Lanning also attempted to buy Pseudoephedrine on November 4th, which was also blocked.
Pseudoephedrine is a primary ingredient in the production of Methamphetamine.
Lanning was released from the Detention Center on Monday on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.
