CARLISLE, SC (WSPA) – A man has been taken to the hospital after he was struck by a train in Union County.
Deputies were called to the scene near Carlisle around 8:30pm for the crash.
The man was airlifted to Spartanburg Medical Center for his injuries, according to Sheriff David Taylor.
Highway Patrol is investigating the collision while the Union County Sheriff’s Office is assisting.
