Anderson Co., S.C. (WSPA) – Three men were shot at a nightclub early Sunday morning in Anderson County, according to the Sheriff’s Office. It’s the second shooting at Club Envy in a week.
Deputies say the shooting happened around 1:40 a.m. at Club Envy, which is located off of S Murray Ave./Hwy 81 near Homeland Park. The first shooting happened the weekend before, injuring two people.
Three victims were taken by EMS to AnMed for treatment. Their injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.
No suspects have been taken into custody for either shooting. Sheriff McBride says they are actively searching for the shooters responsible. They’ve also stepped up routine patrol in the area.
The Sheriff and neighbors living and working around Club Envy say crime has been an issue in that part of Homeland Park. They are planning on holding a meeting with deputies to address the crimes on February 21st at 6 p.m. The community is invited to attend at the Homeland Park Baptist Church Fellowship hall.
