WILLIAMSTON, SC (WSPA) – A woman has been arrested after a missing girl was found in a home on Cromer Road, according to the Abbeville County Sheriff’s Office.
Missing teen Savanna Lark, who went missing on February 9th, was found at a home in Abbeville County and is now in the custody of the sheriff’s office.
When deputies arrived at the home, they say they could smell a strong odor of marijuana and obtained a search warrant.
Upon searching the house, they found 15 grams of marijuana, 50 grams of methamphetamine, and 11 guns, according to deputies.
They say 40-year-old Vera Beth Perkins was arrested and charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine over 28 grams less than 100 grams, Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule II, Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I through III, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, Possession of Marijuana, Custodial Interference, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
Perkins is currently being held at the Abbeville County Detention Center, awaiting a bond hearing.
