Easley, S.C. (WSPA) – A man was arrested after a short chase Sunday morning in Easley and was discovered to be the suspect in a 2016 police chase.
The Easley Police Department reports that officers attempted to pull over a car on Highway 123 for a non-traffic violation just after 2:30 a.m. The car did not stop for the officers and a chase began. The driver was later stopped on Black Snake Rd. and taken into custody.
Bradley Dwayne Morris, 19 of Easley has been identified as the driver of that vehicle. He has been charged with failure to stop for blue lights, driving without a driver’s license, operating an uninsured vehicle, and littering.
There were two other people inside the vehicle during the incident. Neither of the occupants were charged with any crimes.
Police also report that Morris is the suspect in a 2016 police chase as well and that he almost hit an officer with the vehicle during that crime.
No injuries were reported in this arrest.
