NEWBERRY CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A school bus driver was arrested for DUI Sunday night, according to S.C. Highway Patrol.
The driver, identified as Brent Patrick Carter of Goose Creek, was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane on SC 34, without headlights, troopers say.
A traffic stop was performed when the bus was entering the eastbound ramp onto I-26.
Carter was driving an activity bus from Goose Creek High School.
There were 15 students and 3 adults on the bus at the time.
