WAYNESVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) – A man has been arrested after a bank was robbed last week, according to the Waynesville Police Department.
The robbery happened at about 3:10 p.m. on Friday, February 17th, at Entegra Bank on South Main Street.
The man has been identified as 70-year-old James Boyd Custer of Easley.
According to police, Custer was taken into custody in Myrtle Beach after talking to Waynesville investigators and SLED agents and turning himself in.
In a Facebook post, the police department thanked all who sent tips, provided information, and shared the pictures.
