ASHEVILLE, NC (WSPA) – Asheville Police have identified the man killed in a fatal accident on Patton Ave. on Feb. 19.
Police say Jorge Flores was driving vehicle 1 and tried to turn left out of the Goodwill to travel west on Patton Ave.
He was hit by vehicle 2 traveling east on Patton Avenue in the left lane.
Polina Sluder, the operator of vehicle 2, has been charged with:
• Felony Involuntary Manslaughter
• Misdemeanor Reckless Driving to Endanger
• Misdemeanor Speed Violation (62 mph in a 35 mph zone)
