Man crashed into officers’ cars on purpose say Greenville Co. deputies

GREENVILLE CO., SC (WSPA) – A man crashed his vehicle into deputies’ cars on Tuesday, according to Greenville Co. Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies found Jimmy Talmadge Cobb, 41, near the intersection of Augusta Road and Impact Drive around 4 p.m.

They tried to stop Cobb because he had multiple warrants, but he purposely crashed into their patrol cars, according to deputies.

They were able to get him out of his vehicle and he actively resisted.

Deputies were hurt, but are expected to be okay.

Cobb is charged with:

3 counts of Attempted Murder
Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
Resisting Arrest with Injury
Possession of Crack Cocaine
Failure to Stop for a Blue Light
Driving Under Suspension 2nd Offense
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Reckless Driving.
