SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA) – Some Upstate students are showing off their creativity this week.
The Piedmont Regional 3 Science Fair is open to the public at USC Upstate.
The students picked their own projects which range from measuring the effects of dog drool on bacteria growth to how making powder affects the size of cookies.
“This fair goes from 1st grade to 12th grade so we have a wide range of students with a wide range of abilities. That maybe never thought of a a career in Biology or Chemistry or Physics but after doing a science fair project. They find out that they really like that,” said Stephen Bismark, Director of the Science Fair.
You can stop by and see the science fair projects until 7 p.m. on Wednesday night or Thursday between 9 a.m. And 7 p.m.
