(WSPA) — A lot is happening this weekend. Here’s some of the events in the area:
The Southeastern Treeing Walker Days event returns to Union this weekend. It attracts thousands of people who come out to see the best hunting dogs in the area. They’ll have field trials, a dog show and lots of vendors. It starts today and continues tomorrow at the Union County Fairgrounds. Click here for more information.
Even though it’s going to be pretty warm this weekend, you can still do the Polar Plunge. It benefits the Special Olympics and costs a minimum $50 to participate. It takes place in Greenville at Paris Mountain State Park. Registration kicks off at 10 a.m. Saturday and the plunge is at 11:30 a.m. Click here for more information.
Mac-n-cheese lovers will not want to miss Birds Fly South Brewery’s Mac-n-Cheese Off this Sunday starting. It starts at 2 p.m. Local foodies will cook up their best mac-n-cheese and you can sample them all. Make sure you get there on time because it’s first come, first served. They’ll pick three winners, people’s choice, judge’s choice and most creative. Click here for more information.
