GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA)–The search is over for an 82-year-old woman missing from a Greenville retirement home.
According to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, the woman was reported missing from Rolling Green Village early Tuesday.
Sheriff’s deputies responded at 1 a.m. and began an active search, utilizing air support as well as bloodhounds and units on the ground.
Deputies say bloodhounds located her outside about three hours later. The executive director wouldn’t say specifically where she was located, but said it was “on the other side of the building.”
According to the sheriff’s office, she will be checked out by medical professionals to make sure everything is okay. A spokesperson called it fortunate the search concluded with her safe return.
