GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – Bon Secours Health System announced Tuesday that they have reached an agreement with UnitedHealthcare to extend their contract through June 30.
The company says they are working to finalize a long-term agreement.
The extension is retroactive to February 15 and means that UnitedHealthcare plan participants can continue to use their doctor within the Bon Secours Medical Group with in-network coverage.
The contract between the insurance company and the health system had been terminated on February 15th after the companies failed to come to an agreement after six months of negotiations.
