Adopt-a-cop gives you a chance to show support for cops

GREENVILLE Co., S.C. (WSPA) — The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has launched a program that allows people to get to know officers while boosting deputies’ morale.

The program is called Adopt-A-Cop.

People are paired with a deputy and help fulfill the officer’s wish list.

It could be as simple as a cup of coffee, thank you note or even a hug at the end of a long shift.

Participants can adopt more than one deputy. Groups can also take part in the program.

If you’re interested in participating, call the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office at 864-467-5574 or click here for more information on the program.
