Severe T-Storms, high winds possible for SC, NC, GA

WHAT: A line of strong to severe thunderstorms will move into the DMA. The main threats are damaging wind, frequent lightning and an isolated weak tornado. Locally heavy rain is also possible. Ahead of the storms will be gusty wind of 30-40 mph. During the storm, wind gusts could be between 60-70 mph.

WHEN
: Between 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., starting in western NC along the TN line first, and then moving through the southeastern part of the upstate last.

WHERE: The line of severe thunderstorms is moving through TN at this time. It will hit our border counties along the TN/NC line first, and then move into northeast GA and the Upstate.
