(WSPA) — People can find a bargain that benefits just more than their bank account.
Rummage for a Reason will be held this weekend.
The annual event is similar to a garage sale, except it’s much larger and proceeds benefit four local charities.
Uptown Sertoma Club of Spartanburg, The Haven shelter, and the Spartanburg Humane Society are among the groups that will benefit from this year’s event.
Items that will sold include antiques, collectibles, kitchen gear, holiday decorations, pet supplies and much more.
Today is the last day to drop off donations. They will be accept from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
For a $5 fee, people can shop Friday evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The public sale is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The cost for entry is $1. Rummage for a Reason will be held at 140 Interstate Park off Business I-85 south.
