GREENWOOD, S.C. (WSPA) – A man is dead after being hit by a train at Seaboard Avenue, according to the Greenwood Police Department.
The man has been identified as 24-year-old Nicholas Trevor Hartley.
Hartley was walking along the tracks when he was struck by the train at about 5:19 p.m. Sunday.
He was taken by EMS to Self Regional Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
