PICKENS Co., S.C. (WSPA) – One person is dead and another man hurt after a crash on S.C. 288 at Liberia Road, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
The accident happened around 7:16 p.m. Sunday.
Troopers say the driver of a 2007 Acura was traveling south on SC 288 when they crossed the center line and struck a man driving a 1993 Chevrolet head on.
The driver of the Acura died at the scene.
The man who was struck was injured and taken by ambulance to a hospital, troopers say.
The roadway was blocked for a period of time after the wreck.
