PICKENS, CO. (WSPA) – A pickup truck driver is dead after a head-on crash along Pumpkintown Highway in Pickens County.
The coroner says 62-year-old Donald Durham was not wearing a seatbelt in the crash.
Highway Patrol says Durham, the driver of a 2006 Ford pickup truck, died at the scene of the crash just before noon on Monday.
According to Highway Patrol, the pickup truck went off of the right side of the road, overcorrected, crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a 2002 Jeep head-on.
Two people in the Jeep were taken to the hospital for injuries.
