Upstate now meets federal air quality standards

People in the Upstate can breathe easier because we now meet federal standards in air quality.

The entire state of South Carolina is on track to meet ozone compliance after testing this fall.

That means cars and business are creating less pollution.

It also means federal funding for roads won’t be withheld and industries won’t have to deal with increased air regulations.
