Worker dies after falling through Jockey Lot roof in Anderson Co.

ANDERSON, SC (WSPA) – A construction worker has died after falling 16 feet through a roof at the Jockey Lot in Anderson County.

According to the Anderson County coroner, 43-year-old Kenneth Trotter died just before 6:00pm at AnMed Hospital from a skull fracture.

Trotter was working on re-roofing a building with two other workers for a construction company out of Fair Play.

The coroner says one of the other workers, the victim’s nephew, could not find Trotter and discovered that he had fallen through a hole in the roof.

Emergency workers responded to a fall Tuesday before 3pm and the victim was flown to AnMed Hospital.
