ANDERSON CO., S.C. (WSPA) – One person was hurt after a logging truck overturned on Liberty Highway near Levis Smith Road, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
The accident happened around 5:40 p.m. Thursday.
The road was blocked for a few hours due to the crash.
Troopers say a 48-year-old man was driving north on Levis Smith Road and failed to yield at a stop sign, causing the logging truck to hit it and overturn. He was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
The driver of the logging truck, a 69-year-old man, was injured and taken by EMS to AnMed Hospital.
