OTISCO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – An 89-year-old woman was found dead by a plow driver outside an Otisco home on Wednesday morning.
According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, a plow driver was shoveling the walkway to the victim’s residence and found the woman dead in the snow, just outside the door.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the woman went outside and either slipped or fell, or had a medical issue.
An autopsy will determine the official cause of death.
The woman has not yet been identified, pending family notification.
