Greenwood Co., S.C. (WSPA) – A Laurens County sheriff’s deputy is on administrative leave without pay after he was arrested Saturday in Greenwood County for domestic violence.
According to the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, Sgt. Jeremy McMahan, 39, of Greenwood was taken into custody by Greenwood County deputies after a reported domestic dispute at his home. He’s charged with second-degree domestic violence.
An internal investigation will be handled by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office.
