Greenville Co., S.C. (WSPA) – The S.C. Highway Patrol says that an arrest has been made in a hit-and-run case involving a moped in Greenville County.
Troopers say a silver Volkswagen Jetta rear-ended a moped on Highway 14 just before 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Both riders on the moped were thrown from the vehicle and the car immediately left the scene.
The S.C. Highway Patrol put out flyers and sent information looking for the suspect vehicle Sunday. They reported at 2:47 p.m. Sunday that a suspect had been arrested and is in custody.
They say that 27-year-old Jordan Daniel Bolding of Taylors has been booked into the Greenville County Detention Center.
He is charged with two counts of leaving the scene of a collision with great bodily injury and one count of unlawful carry of a pistol, troopers says.
