SPARTANBURG Co., S.C. (WSPA) — Several departments responded early morning fire at a home on Carolina Country Club Road.
Fire crews with seven departments responded to the call just before 5 a.m. Monday.
Firefighters say no one was inside the house at the time. The house is at 2804 Carolina Country Club Road.
The fire was under control in 30 minutes.
Someone banged on the door to the house after seeing the fire and cars outside the home, said Roebuck Fire Capt. Chris Harvey.
Fortunately, no one was inside at the time.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation as of Monday afternoon.
Capt. Harvey said the investigation has been referred to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office. He said the fire isn’t considered suspicious at the current time and the referral was protocol.
